Email marketing is a significantly powerful tool when you are able to put in the time and effort. In fact, recent statistics show that you can get up to $42 for every $1 spent on email marketing.
Email marketing allows you to properly engage all types of people around your business, from those recently introduced to your brand to customers you want to entice to return and buy more from you.
However, email marketing is not a one-click thing to do.
For example, one of our past clients, an outdoor and recreational brand in the UK, wanted to be more in touch with their customers but had time constraints.
- The business ran ads, but they were looking to diversify their revenue streams and not rely on a single channel.
- They wished to keep in contact with their customer base with more than just ads.
- They wanted to achieve more from emails.
But the problem was that they weren’t able to improve their email marketing strategy because they were too busy to be involved in the process.
As a result, they were essentially doing emails the old way – resorting to corporate newsletters with the same content sent to everyone. The bad news for them was that they didn’t know that non-personalised emails are 14% less likely to be opened than customised ones.
Hence, they weren’t able to get the results they wanted.
And so, we came in.
We researched their audiences entirely and created emails for all of their customer types. We designed, wrote, tested, automated and implemented email campaigns that matched all of their different audience profiles.
New users received the proper messaging, returning customers got the right emails, and so on. We made funnels for abandoned carts, dormant shoppers, replenishment shoppers, and more.
As a result, the outdoor and recreational business eventually generated £500,000, 22% (£119,105) of which came from the email campaigns that KAMG implemented.
And that’s how, with the right expertise and team, you can do better business with the power of emails.
